Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort - Cabin & Chalet Reservations

These Terms & Conditions govern all cabin, chalet, bunkhouse, and lodging reservations made through the Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort website, by phone, or in person. By completing a reservation, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Reservation & Payment Policy

  • Full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking to secure a reservation.
  • All rates are subject to applicable taxes (currently 5.5% Wisconsin sales tax, unless otherwise stated).
  • Reservations are not confirmed until payment is successfully processed and a confirmation is issued.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: After 3:00 PM
  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement but is not guaranteed.

Minimum Stay

  • A two-night minimum stay applies to standard online reservations.
  • One-night stays may be accepted only at management discretion (e.g., walk-ins or special circumstances).

No-Show Policy

  • Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice will be treated as a no-show and will result in forfeiture of the full reservation amount.

Occupancy Limits

  • Each cabin, chalet, or lodging unit has a maximum occupancy limit.
  • Exceeding the stated occupancy is not permitted and may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival:
    Eligible for a 70% refund of the total reservation amount.
  • Cancellations within 30 days of arrival:
    Non-refundable, no exceptions.
  • No refunds are issued for early departures, weather conditions, or unused nights.

Linens, Towels & Amenities

  • Most cabins and chalets include linens and towels.
  • Certain units, including the Budget Chalet and Polar Bear Bunkhouse, require guests to bring their own bedding and towels.
  • Kitchen or kitchenette availability varies by unit.
  • Cooking utensils are not provided unless explicitly stated; guests should bring their own.

Accessibility

The following units are wheelchair-accessible:

  • Koala Cabin
  • Panda Cabin
  • Budget Chalet

Guests requiring accessibility accommodations are encouraged to confirm details prior to booking.

Smoking & Pets

  • All lodging units are smoke-free and pet-free.
  • Violations may result in cleaning fees, damage charges, or eviction.
  • A $150 per pet per day fee applies if pet restrictions are violated.

Property Use & Guest Conduct

Guests agree to:

  • Respect quiet hours and neighboring guests
  • Use facilities and amenities responsibly
  • Comply with all posted rules and staff instructions

Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a stay for disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior without refund.

Damage & Liability

  • Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused to lodging units, furnishings, or property during their stay.
  • The resort is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
  • Guests assume all risks associated with outdoor activities and natural surroundings.

Seasonal Operations

  • Cabins and chalets are available year-round unless otherwise noted.
  • The restaurant, bar, and certain amenities operate seasonally (typically May through Labor Day) and are subject to change.

Force Majeure

Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort is not liable for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, power outages, or government actions.

Modifications to Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking governs the reservation.

By completing a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
